INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Add 3 EcoDescalk stoppers (60 ml) to the tank of your coffee machine. To do this, use the dispenser that comes as the cap of the container.
STEP 2
Add 500 ml of water to the tank. Run the machine without coffee with this solution and let it stand for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 3
Rinse and run the machine 2 only times with water. Now you can enjoy your coffee like the first day.
SHOCK TREATMENT
FIRST DECALCIFICATION
State: Your coffee machine has never been decalcified during the first six months of its useful life.
Dosage of Shock treatment: 120 ml (6 caps) of EcoDescalk in 500 ml of water.
Irregular maintenance
State: If your machine has not received proper maintenance.
Dosage of Shock treatment: 120 ml (6 caps) of EcoDescalk in 500 ml of water.
Descaling indicator
Some coffee makers include an indicator that lights up when there is excess lime in the ducts. If decalcification has been carried out and the pilot does not shut off, follow the instructions below:
1º Turn off your coffee maker and unplug it.When you turn it on again the indicator will possibly turn off.
2º. If the pilot is still on, your coffee maker may still have accumulated lime due to the use of very hard water (with a lot of limescale). In this situation, it is recommended to apply the shock treatment.
3º In case the pilot is still on once the previous steps have been carried out, do not worry, your coffee machine is free of lime and in perfect operation. Probably, the indicator will turn off only following the instructions of the manufacturer of your coffee maker.
